Why "Ham Fist Supply"
A name that owns the joke: left-handed shooters get called "ham-fisted" for fumbling gear that was never built for them in the first place. We figured we'd wear it.
If you're left-handed and you shoot, you already know the drill. The safety's in the wrong place. The ejection port throws brass across your face. The holster you bought as "ambidextrous" is really just a right-handed holster with a shrug. None of it is malicious — the industry just defaults to right-handed, and everyone else adapts, works around it, or figures it out the hard way.
Ham Fist Supply is our attempt to stop treating that as normal. It's a resource for left-handed shooters that starts from the left-handed setup as the default question, not an afterthought — gear guides, honest reviews, and setup advice for actions, optics, holsters, and controls that actually work for a southpaw.
What this is, right now
This site is early. It's a foundation we're building out one guide at a time, based on real range time and real gear — not manufacturer copy. Expect it to grow steadily: more guides, more reviews, and eventually a curated list of gear worth buying if you shoot left-handed.
What this isn't
It's not a place for gear-affiliate padding or "just mirror the instructions" advice. If something doesn't actually work well for left-handed shooters, we'll say so — including when that something is expensive and well-marketed.
Built by left-handed shooters, for left-handed shooters. If it doesn't work for a southpaw, it doesn't go up.
